CURIO (shortened from curiosity in 1850) A small unusual article valued as a collector's item, especially something fascinating or an object of art. Curators Tom Cretney and Nick Simpson , formally of Monks Gallery, Lincoln, are embarking on a new project, CURIO; a mobile art gallery mounted on the rear of a Tricycle. The project commissions four new works from Lincoln based artist’s Dale Fearnley, James Hubble & Ross Oliver, Laura Mahony and Ian Manicom. Inspired by 19th Century curiosity cabinets.
